Alana Reeve, MA, RCC
Alana Reeve is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#14066) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. She has a Master’s in Counselling and Spirituality from Saint Paul University/University of Ottawa, a BA from the University of Toronto/University of Waterloo, and a Certificate of Ministry in Pastoral Leadership from Hillsong International Leadership College in Sydney, Australia. Alana has experience working with various churches and non-profit organizations, including Sooke Family Resource Society; HTB Church (home of the Alpha Course) in London, England; the Canadian Bible Society in Toronto; Youth for Christ/Youth Unlimited in Peterborough; and Hillsong Church in London, England.
Alana is passionate about helping her clients heal, grow, and live in freedom and joy. She works with clients experiencing issues related to anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, abuse, self-esteem, identity, and relationships. Alana uses Integrative Therapy with a focus on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and draws on a number of other approaches to best suit the needs of her clients, such as Person-Centred Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Attachment Theory, Family Systems Theory, Play Therapy, Art Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
